Two years ago today I was out across the West Midlands taking various photos. In this selection of photos, you’ll see photos from Birmingham City Centre and from Walsall.

This Arriva Midlands North owned Sapphire Citaro, BV58 MLE, can be seen on route 110 on Moor Street Queensway in Birmingham City Centre.
Also on Moor Street Queensway, Rotala Diamond’s 30861 can be seen on route 16W from West Bromwich to the Birmingham Markets via Hamstead and Hockley. This bus has since transferred from Diamond West Midland to Diamond North West.
Diamond’s 40632, still carrying the livery and fleetnames of its previous owner – Central Buses. Central Buses was bought out by Diamond a few months earlier.
National Express West Midlands’ 4125 is seen here heading into Walsall St Pauls Bus Station on route 301. 4125 was at the time, and still is, the oldest service bus owned by National Express. It has now been painted into its original Travel West Midlands low floor Blue, Red and White livery. It is also the first Dennis Trident vehicle owned by National Express numerically.
