June 2016 – West Bromwich

Home   /   June 2016 – West Bromwich

It’s hard to believe this is from 2016. Although I first started taking photos in late 2015, I really started taking them during 2017. Here are some photos I took on the 4th June in West Bromwich.

Diamond SK16 GXN and NX West Midlands SN64 OCL seen at West Bromwich Bus Station. The Diamond Streetlite is preparing to leave for Hayley Green via Stone Cross and Halesowen. The NX Enviro 400 is picking up passangers before heading for Birmingham. It is at the half way point on the route, having coming from Dudley.
National Express West Midlands 4971 SN64 OCR can be seen entering West Bromwich Bus Station, where it will pick up passengers before continuing on to Dudley.
Diamond’s 30125 is seen in sister company Preston Bus’ livery on route 40 from Wednesbury to West Bromwich.
National Express’ BU06 CXD is seen entering West Bromwich Bus Station on route 83. This bus is now with sister company Xplore Dundee.
National Express’ B7TL 4049 V49 MOA is seen heading into the bus station. At the time, these Presidents were the oldest buses in the fleet, with this one being new to Walsall Garage in January 2016. The 5 was the last “branded” route that used them, with the buses being branded for route 5 when the 451 was renumbered to the 5 – with the buses previously being branded in the Travel WM toothpaste livery for the 451.
