Three years ago – My first trip to Bristol

Home   /   Three years ago – My first trip to Bristol

Three years ago today I went on my first trip to Bristol, which also happened to be my first trip outside of the Midlands. At that point, the furthest I had travelled was Burton upon Trent, which – given that it was accessible from my home town at the time of Sutton Coldfield by a single bus, really wasn’t that far.

Bristol is a city that I have been to a few times since, and I have also ventured over to Bath too. So here are are some photos I took the first time I went to Bristol. You may note the lower quality to some of my newer photos. This is because at this point I had my old camera. I received my newer camera two months later so the next time I went to Bristol I had a DSLR.

First West of Englands 60914 can be seen at UWE Frenchay on route 72 to Temple Meads Station.
ADL Dart 42960 can be seen here in Bristol City Centre.
West of England 32095 can be seen near Primark in Bristol City Centre.
32284 seen in Bristol City Centre on route to Keynsham and Bath.
Then new gas bus 39401 seen in Bristol City Centre.
Volvo B7LA Wright 10176 seen in Bristol.

More photos from this day can be seen on my Flickr album page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/twmmcw/albums/72157685547527251
